Empathize

Once we have identified our problem and we know what we are trying to offer solutions to. We have to dedicate time to understand the feelings and needs of the people involved or affected by the problem. We use an Empathy map, in the process of empathizing we put ourselves in the affected people’s shoes and we try to see the problem the way they see it and experience it. We try to get knowledge about their needs, fears, thoughts, actions, and so on.

During this part of the process, it would be interesting if you could interview or have conversations with different stakeholders as it would offer a bigger and more objective picture of the situation.
